I'm beginning my third year of beekeeping. Key information follows:

- Have caught and hived 3 swarms in past 2 years

- Pests: Have dealt with SHB (small hive beetles) and waxmoths. The hive beetles ruined 50 pounds of honey because I harvested too late.

- Beginning 5 new hives at Patapsco Valley State Park in March 2020.

- Currently one healthy hive at my home (Feb 2020)

- Have extracted about 10 pounds of honey

I've learned a lot through failure and want to keep learning!
