HCBA Meeting Information

Our mission is to promote beekeeping in Howard County, Maryland by providing a forum in which current beekeepers may become more knowledgeable of best practices and the public can become more, and accurately, informed on the benefits of honey bees and other pollinators.

We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except in August and December) from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, in the dining hall at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship Maryland.

We offer a one-day seminar in the fall to introduce beekeeping to those who are interested, and in the spring, we offer a full Beginning Beekeeping course for new beekeepers. Go to the Education tab on this website to learn more about our classes.

Whether you are curious about beekeeping, or just want to learn more about honey bees, we welcome you to come out to a meeting!  Go here to view our calendar
