Hello, experienced beekeepers! We are getting ready to use Apiguard for the first time to treat for Varroa, but we have a few questions. Online sources appear to use just one 50g tray (twice) for multiple brood boxes, is that sufficient? We have 3 medium boxes in our hive. The Apiguard web site also says that a half tray (2 times) is sufficient if the temperature will be above 77 degrees F, which it will be for the next week or more. I'm building a spacer to allow the bees to get into the gel, but I'm not sure if I need more than one spacer and more than one tray per treatment.
