Maryland State Fair - Honey Show Info
It's not too late to register online for this year's Maryland State Fair - Honey Show!
The Maryland State Fair will take place August 22-25, August 29-September 2 and September 5-8
Last year, a few of our HCBA members entered the State Fair Honey Show for their first time and we surprised to come away with quite a few ribbons, including a State Fair Champion! If you have thought about entering, JUST DO IT! Entering a Honey Show is one of the most affirming activities you can do as a beekeeper to showcase the great work of your colonies.

To save some hassle, consider pre-registering either by mail or online. Onlien registration deadline is July 31st at 11:59pm.
Walk-in Registrations will be taken Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 3pm to 8pm and Monday, August 19th from 9am to 7pm, BUT the process of may take a bit longer.
No entries will be taken outside the entry times. Every year the Fair has people coming in to enter after judging has begun. It’s sad to have to turn them away after all their effort.
