Dec 6 41 degrees

Hello everyone

I hope everyone and their families ha been well.

I was really surprised at the activity today being cold. The ladies are loving their bee waterer.

Powdered sugar varroa test showed mites so second treatment for varroa on nov 14-shocking how the bearded for a few days. Thought I killed them but they seem strong now.

Fondant placed between the boxes but not sure how to add during the winter when it’s really cold. Any ideas? Made a container for the sugar water and cedar chips in top box? Is this ok?

Is anyone familiar with the mountain method of feeding over the winter months? Any success?
