Community bee question

The following question came from a neighborhood Facebook group. The poster said honey bees were her aggressor but others have noticed more bumble, wasp and carpenter bees "going after them". Any thoughts?

"Any beekeepers out there able to answer a question? This year the bees seem exceptionally aggressive with me. Is it my imagination or is something going on? FWIW I’m the only one in the family they are coming near this year."

I currently have wasps, carpenter bees and bumble bees that "bump" me and my family outside our front door. The honey bees just do their thing and don't bother anyone. It's normal at my house. Many in my neighborhood have mistaken yellow jackets for honey bees, so it might be that. I tell my wife it's because she's sweet. 😉
