Diagnose hive problem
Inspection today identified what appears as emergent bees dying, many with proboscis extended. No sign of queen, with one frame containing 3 queen cells. Diagnosis? Testing needed to confirm?

Enough of a colony to save is the next question. An adjacent hive lost it's queen. If this hive generates a queen, then there is a possibility of combining.
