Hello everyone:) I want to gather people's experiences or thoughts on when I should treat for varroa mites. I installed my first nuc this past spring and I'm new to beekeeping. There is an abundance of information about the subject online, sorting through is a little overwhelming. I would like local advice.

- Can I be proactive and treat for the mites periodically without testing? - If I do testing, when should I start and how often? I installed the nuc at the beginning of June. Thank you in advance for your help! -Janet
