Should I treat a captured swarm for mites right away?

I had the good fortune to capture a swarm on my tea farm yesterday. This is my first time ever dealing with a swarm. I've got them set up in a new hive and am wondering if I should treat them for mites right away since I don't know anything about where the came from. Any thoughts from those with more experience than myself are more than welcome. If the answer is to treat now, are there suggestions on what time of treatment is ideal for this time of year? I've used apivar strips previously but am open to all options.


Are there any other things I should be thinking as far as care for the swarm? Or, do I just care for them them same as a new package of bees and get on with it?
