I currently have wasps, carpenter bees and bumble bees that "bump" me and my family outside our front door. The honey bees just do their thing and don't bother anyone. It's normal at my house. Many in my neighborhood have mistaken yellow jackets for honey bees, so it might be that. I tell my wife it's because she's sweet. 😉

I'm confused. Are you trying to give/sell the swarm, and just want what you paid for that supplies? Why not keep it?

I meant after the Apivar treatment. Did you see dead mites afterwards on your bottom board?

I'm a new beekeeper and data junky, so I dove right into using Broodminder to understand weight, temp, and humidity of the hives. In the Broodminder site I keep notes and duplicate them in Google Docs. I probably need to look into what details are necessary since I'm probably missing a few like weather conditions etc.
