Happy 4th! My wife is looking to use a product called First Saturday Lime (hydrated lime and citric acid from limes / https://firstsaturdaylime.com) for some gardening issues. The product maker is claiming that beekeepers use it around their hives to prevent hive beetles. Has anyone used this?

I've used the white vinegar and salt option that was mentioned at our meeting, with ok results. Figured I'd throw it out there, since this would also help with ticks, mites and fleas too.
